FEBRUARY 2010 FISHING REPORT
The fishery is now re-open.
Since re-opening at the beginning of February the lakes have remained very quiet due to the bad weather and the fact that they have been frozen over for some of the time!
Richard Edmunds from Hastings braved the cold and fished Specimen Lake. He was fishing with maize over particle and caught two commons to 23lb while Chris Spencer from Bromley fished Specimen Lake using pellet over particle and he caught a 31lb common.
Despite heavy rain and the freezing cold, Bells Winter League fished their match here on Sunday 21 February. First place went to Terry Archer with a weight of 27lb 11oz, second place went to Chris Frappnell with 24lb 3oz and third place went to Steve Mugridge with 22lb 9oz.
With the recent thaw and Spring just around the corner, we anticipate having lots to report next month!
