Report February 2012
The complex has been closed since 19th December and reopens on 3rd February. Apart from Specimen Lake which has been open for members only.
The rest of the lakes were closed for general maintenance. Main Lake and Dove Lake were not dropped as our last report said this was a misprint on our part. The main reason for our closure was to cut back trees and for bank stabilisation.
Specimen Lake
Specimen Lake has produced a number of fish; Mr T Grice caught a 36lb common on Christmas day. We did take him a Christmas dinner for his dedication. John Puttick of Hailsham had 2 carp one was 35lb and one was 41lb on a 3 day session. Danny Soulsby fished 48 hours and had 2 carp, 23lb and 25lb.
